EVENT PREVIEW: The Village Voice's Third Annual Choice Streets 2014!

Everyone loves a food truck, right? But how do we feel about multiple food trucks? Say, 17 of NYC's best food trucks? And how do we feel about the opportunity to sample something from all of them, all in one night, on a legendary aircraft carrier on the Hudson?

 This situation doesn't exist only in your dreams - it's real, it's called Choice Streets, and it's about to take place on the Intrepid on May 7th (with a rain date of May 9). This third annual event, hosted by the Village Voice, gives attendees the opportunity to sample goodies from a long list of popular NYC food trucks, with one tweak from past years - this year, attendees will be receiving a passport that will allow them to have one sample from each truck. Luckily, alcoholic beverages are still unlimited, so you know you'll always have something to wash all that food down.

As of now, the list of participants to look forward to includes: Big D's Grub Truck, Carl's Steaks, Comme Ci Comme Ca, Coolhaus, Dub Pies, Hibachi Heaven, Korilla BBQ, Love Mamak & Lucky Yim, Luke's Lobster, Luzzo's La Pizza Napoletana, Mike N' Willie's, Moo Shu Grill, Nuchas, Solber Pupusas, Souvlaki Gr, Sweet Chili, Taipan Fusion Express, Toum, Uncle Gussy's, and Valducci's Pizza.

If that wasn't enough, attendees are also able to access the Intrepid during the event, so you can top off all that food truck deliciousness with a good and healthy dose of history (along with some spectacular city views and selfie photo-ops with fighter planes).
