Jose James has decided to tackle the guitar in all its glory with his latest, While You Were Sleeping. While the first single threw people for a loop with it’s almost mosh friendly hook, the latest record is less a ‘rock’ album then one where he explores the instrument and the genres it dominates; funk, soul, etc.
