House of Cards, one of the most dramatic and intense series of the new streaming age returns February 27th with an all-new season of 13 episodes.  The series stars Golden Globe winners Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright returning respectively as Francis and Clare Underwood, political titans reigning over congress.
A successful two seasons of dark politics, twisted romances, and dirty journalism has brought critics and viewers to engage in the political scams of the sinister couple. The program captivates you with its diabolical dialog and eerie cinematography as they casually break the fourth wall with Kevin Spacey addressing the viewers about his strategies and actions during the course of the show. Robin Wright delivers an intriguing female villain that won her the Golden Globe in 2014 and placed Netflix in the realm of other competitive networks. As one of Netflix’s first original shows, House of Cards has allowed Netflix and other streaming services like Hulu and Amazon, to generate more dramas.
The first and second seasons are available for streaming now on Netflix with special guest directors. David Fincher, (Fight Club, Social Network, Gone Girl) who directed the first episode of the series, “Chapter 1” sets the cinematic tone and gloomy feel that the show carries on throughout the seasons. The previous seasons have pumped our adrenaline and made us feel so connected to the duo that as viewers, we too feel like we are rising to power. After a powerful season two ending the third season promises to see more blood, crimes, schemes, and revenge from both parties of the show. A trailer for season 3 was released, introducing harsh images and strong acting, all to come this February.
