FILM: Red Tails

When I heard that George Lucas was doing a film about the Tuskegee Airmen, I chuckled a bit. "Again?", I asked. We all remember that HBO TV movie of the same name back in 1994. Being a resident of Tuskegee, Alabama (born and bred) I could only chuckle at the brown mountains in the background in some scenes (er, California much?)

But again, as said resident of Tuskegee, and as a dude who has met all of the surviving airmen I'm blown away by this trailer. Lucas and his Lucasfilm Ltd people have given the story the full cinematic treatment. The film again stars Cuba Gooding Jr. with Michael B. Jordan, Nate Parker, Kevin Phillips, David Oyelowo and Elijah Kelley. This trailer has certainly gotten my attention.
