Fort Knox Recordings' See-I (Rootz and Zeebo from Washington, DC) have a wonderful gift for your viewing and listening pleasures this holiday season called " Queen of Sheba" and the video is posted below. You may not have heard of See-I before, but you probably have heard some of their sounds if you are a fan of Thievery Corporation, as the duo have performed many live shows with TC and have been on some recordings as well.
"Queen of Sheba" features Rootz and Zeebo's tremendous lyrical skills as well as soulful vocals from the beautiful Edy Blu.  Blu stars in the video which was shot at the Eighteenth Street Lounge and other locales around DC and hails from the Nation's Capital as well.  There are also the bluesy guitar riffs that may sound familiar from Thievery which come from the multitalented Rob Myers. His solo (albeit short) really made the track stand out for me. Myers is also in Thunderball, plays in Thievery Corp's touring band, and collaborates with other groups in the ESL Records family.  He also did the title work and credits on the "Queen Sheba" video.
The track is on See-I's latest LP which was released in May entitled "Knowledge Shine Bright" and is available from Fort Knox Recordings HERE. The label is named for the funk artists of "Fort Knox Five" who are also a big part of the DC music scene.
It's a great time of year to listen to these great reggae sounds to take your mind off of the cold weather and think about warmer climes and good vibes.
Fort Knox Recordings have offered the song as a free download with this SoundCloud link.  Go get it and chill....
