17 year-old Brooklyn artist Joey Bada$$ released the official music video for "Waves" over the weekend, one of the stand-out tracks from his heralded debut mixtape 1999. Directed by "Downtown's Sweetheart" Vashtie, responsible for previous video work for the likes of Justin Bieber, Kid Cudi, Kendrick Lamar, Big K.R.I.T., Armand Van Helden and others, the video documents a day in the life of the young star, from him rising out of bed, heading to school, skating with his friends, then performing his first headlining and sold-out concert at The Knitting Factory a few weeks ago.
