As we thaw out from a vicious winter, Red Bull Music Academy hit us with something to help us look forward to as we put our down jackets in for dry cleaning. Taking place during the entire month of May the third iteration of the Red Bull Music Academy Festival is going to be another group of fun shows. You like weird noises that sound like they came from the Hellraiser dimension? Nothing Changes, the seminal noise/dark music party is taking over Output with avant garde Japanese musician Merzbow. Want to grind on someone in the daylight and it not be part of the West Indian day parade? They are throwing a outdoor Dancehall party called 'Yardcore' on May 10th. If you are into more cerebral stuff, you can catch long form interviews with A$AP Rocky and George Clinton.
