NEW MUSIC: Rewards - Equal Dreams Feat. Solange Knowles

DFA continues to stream out hotness on a steady basis. It's newest team member goes by the alias Rewards (né Aaron Pfenning) a Brooklynite formerly a part of the synth-pop outfit Chairlift. For his title track, "Equal Dreams" he enlisted the help of current 'it DJ'/singer Solange Knowles.

I like Solange as a fashionista and admittedly I'm slowly growing to like her as a vocalist - especially on "Equal Dreams"  - where her vocals were the necessary component for making the song hot (& sexy) overall. Not to mention her aligning herself with DFA is a good look in efforts to broaden her fanbase. Hopefully she will be doing some deeper digging into the sounds of electro (and all its lo & hi-fi counterparts)  on her next album.

Reward's B-side track, “Asleep With The Lights On” features Blood Orange, both are available now.
