It's no secret that Queen Latifah is coming out with a hip-hop album. Even though she's been doing jazz for the past few years (and killing it), a return to her vintage style is long overdue, especially with the extreme lack of female MCs in the game.
This freestyle over Lady GaGa's "Pokerface," is dope. I was a little skeptical on how it would go down, but the Queen made sure to remind us that her mic has not gotten dusty.
I do take issue with people saying that "The Queen is Back," though. If you pay attention to something other than hip-hop, you would realize that she never left. (via BOTTOM FEEDER)
