We've been fans of Kansas City's Miles Bonny ever since he put out that SoundsGood project back in the day. The singer, rapper, producer, trumpeter and DJ is still making some of the best R&B you probably never heard about. Until now. Lumberjack Soul is the latest installment in his soul journey. With influences ranging from The Meters to Raphael Saadiq to J Dilla and even Kermit the Frog, Lumberjack Soul is able to be forward thinking yet retain that classic soul vibe. Check it.
