Since y'all loved the last Matthew Hemerlein post we did a few months ago, I'm glad to post this new track that landed in my inbox.

If you don't know, Mr. Hemerlein is DC's artist du jour, and his covers have been getting recognition for a minte now. Most people might actually know him from his collaboration with another DC artist Nacey on the cover of La Roux's bulletproof which is the first track off of Mad Decent's mixtape.

Well, Matt is back with this cover of Miike Snow's "Animal," and it might just be the best cover of that song I've heard all year.

Matt will be performing at the Nashville Flood Benefit Show this Saturday at the Gibson Guitar showroom in DC.
