NEW MUSIC: Jitta On The Track - Smoke Signals

With all due respect to Apathy, there hasn't been a CT artist that has legitimately taken that proverbial step into mainstream, and stamped themselves as a force to be reckoned with in hip-hop. However, with the emergence of Jitta On The Track, the Constitution State might have an MC that they can truly embrace as their own.

You might recognize Jitta from the Club Paradise tour, where he won a contest to open for Drake and his fellow hip-hop heavyweight counterparts - J. Cole, Meek Mill, and Waka Flocka just to name a few, courtesy of OurStage. Since then, his name has garnered a national buzz, and hip-hop label heads are turning (he even has that Twitter verified). However, with notoriety comes anticipation and pressure to create music worthy of the premature attention. Never one to dupe his fans, Jitta returns with a new visual for "Smoke Signals", his latest single off his upcoming project 'Alphabet Soup'. This definitely has a chance to make noise on the radio and charts. It's brilliantly directed by NYU graduate Hunter Lyon, and the clip features a splendid piece of eye candy, some purple and - wait for it - lots of smoke. Take a look and enjoy.
