NEW MUSIC: Flock of Dimes - Prison Bride
Lately I've been digging the tunes from a pop/rock duo out of Baltimore by the name of Wye Oak and a large part is due to the amazing vocals of the lead singer, Jenn Wasner. So when I caught word that Jenn was fronting a new must-peep solo project by the name of Flock of Dimes, naturally I was instantly on it. The debut track is called "Prison Bride" and the sound is a nice flip from that of Wye Oak's. Jenn's lyrics are a little hard to understand, which I suspect may be intentional, making the song more melody driven if anything. It totally works.
