You know we've been fans of Adiran Younge since the Black Dynamite soundtrack landed in our mailbox many moons ago. Since then he's virtually impressed us every step of the way (even creating his own damn piano??). But before Dynamite, there was Venice Dawn, the result of Younge's evolution from a hip-hop producer to an orchestral musician.

He released Venice Dawn EP only in LA, pressing only 1000 copies and selling it locally. Since bootlegging on the Internet was still in its infancy, the pressed CDs became a collectors item, especially since Black Dynamite hit.

Since Younge is becoming a musical force, Waxpoetics records is re-releasing the original Venice Dawn EP in anticipation for his solo project titled Something About April. Check it.
