MUSIC: Your Old Droog - Sleepers

A month ago a little known rapper named Your Old Droog set the hip-hop nerd internet on fire by dropping a group of songs that sounded like the came straight out of Nas's private vault from 1994. While people surmised that the leaked tracks were by Nas himself, some internet snooping has revealed that Mr.Droog isn't Nas. Or who knows, perhaps Complex is in on it also and this is just one long campaign for the sequel to The Lost Tapes

However, the quality of his releases hasn't slowed down, and he's dropped a new track, Sleepers, produced by Larry Fisherman. It's going to be interesting to see how this (possibly) new rapper grows...hopefully he will get from underneath his idol's shadows like others have done in the past.
