MUSIC: TAPES - Crowns

After dropping two EP's in 2013, TAPES is set to release his debut album Finding on August 15 for the glorious price of free. We've got the first track from the record, Crowns, below. TAPES makes trippy but very upbeat and pretty tracks featuring the speed up disembodied chipmunk soul samples, handclaps, and heavy reliance on 808 bass thumps that have become synonymous of many in the beat scene, but there's a musicality and sense of melody there that's very unique.
