MUSIC: Tabi Bonney represents Washington, DC in a Commercial

Tabi Bonney, an MC who’s worked with the likes of Nicole Wray, has collaborated with the Washington DC Tourism Board to help promote his city. While the awesomeness of the District of Columbia has been known to the Couchsessions for awhile here is a hint on what you’ve been missing if you’ve never come through.

While we wouldn’t mind if DC dopeness stayed to ourselves but this commercial was too dope to hide. Notice for once this clip shows actual people doing actual things and not scenes of models from LA falling into each other with the city as a prop. You’ve got scenes of DC music staples like the 9:30 Club and U Street Music Hall with genuine people head bopping along. The clip is as cool as the city it’s trying to represent.
