MUSIC: Stacy Barthe - BEcoming

Stacy Barthe is one of those songwriters who's been putting in work in the background making plenty of songs that you've hummed to by less talented artists in the past decade. She's finally dropping her debut album BEcoming and it's a doozy. NPR has it up on preview here, and its the type of project that you can tell she put her entire soul in from talking frankly about her depression to love itself. It's been a banner year for R&B this year and this just adds to the fire.
