MUSIC: Oddisee & Phonte - Requiem

Mello Music Group had a heck of a 2014 where they dropped one of my personal favorites, Open Mike Eagle among other great rleases. In March they are going to drop their annual compilation named after a videogame or movie, depending on your level of nerddom, called "Persona" Artists featured includes Oddisee, Apollo Brown, yU, L’Orange, Red Pill, Ras Kass, Open Mike Eagle, Phonte, Rapper Big Pooh, Quelle Chris, Blockhead, Gift of Gab, Masta Ace and others.
We've got the first track released from the preview called "Requiem" from Oddisee and Phonte. It brings to light the recent (well if we have to be honest, not recent) issue with police brutality and racial profiling, and you can listen below:
