Boston’s own Mr. Lif returns with single “Let Go” from Don’t Look Down, his first LP in over seven years. The track is a fantastic reintroduction that doubles as a low-key lesson on knowing thyself. Lif’s rhymes lock in with stabs of Hammond organ, while an infinitely descending bassline summons Isaac Hayes and/or Alessia Cara. And if all that doesn’t wind you down, Selina Carrera’s dreamy hook should do the trick.
