MUSIC: Lana Del Rey - West Coast (Four Tet Remix)

Lana Del Rey has a new album coming out called Ultraviolence. Lana's something of a character; she inhabits a world where 60's bad girls who pout a lot collide with modern pop production. At times it might come off as her trying to hard with the persona, but considering how boring and trite so many pop artists its nice someone is sticking to their script as opposed to chasing whatever popular trend is out there. Four Tet grabs her latest song, "West Coast", and puts it into a nice hard house mixer and has made something perfect for 2am sweaty humpings on the dance floor..something Ms. Del Rey would approve of in between dating gangsters and burring down ex-boyfriend houses.
