MUSIC: Ladi6 - Hold Tight

While the US R&B landscape sometimes feels like a bunch of R.Kelly wanna be's and Aaliyah clones thankfully New Zealand has been doing work with keeping modern rhythm and blues soulful, funky, and head nod worthy. Ladi6 was at the head of this wave, having dropped her underrated debut album in 2008, Time Is Not Much. She recently dropped an animated video for her track, "Hold Tight", and you can watch it below.
