MUSIC: Kamasi Washington - Re Run Home

After the trippy journey through the last 40 years of black music that is Kendrick's "To Pimp A Butterfly", some of you may be wondering who some of the fantastic musicians who helped bring it ot life are. Fader has a run down here, and the man that helped bring the horns to the game is no other then Kamasi Washington, a well known musician in the Los Angeles Jazz scene. Signed to Flying Lotus's Brainfeeder label, he's about to drop a megaton of music in the next few months in the foirm of a three CD 172 minute Opus called "The Epic". He dropped the first song from the suite, "Re Run Home" last week, and you can hear it below.
