MUSIC: Júníus Meyvant – Neon Experience

Júníus Meyvant is the alter ego of Icelandic singer-songwriter Unnar Gísli Sigurmundsson. Despite his chilly origins, Sigurmundsson’s music radiates nothing so much as warm sunshine, and “Neon Experience” is a prime example. We may have just finally sunken our fingernails into spring, but the Philly soul vibes of this track already have us longing for long hot summer days.
Floating Harmonies, Meyvant’s debut album, is due on July 8.
