While Kendrick, Ab-Soul, and Schoolboy Q have managed to etch themselves pretty successful niches in the rap game, Jay Rock seems to be the forgotten fourth member(and to show you have big TDE is, most rappers would kill to have this slot).
Which is a shame; there's a reason why he was the first TDE member to get national attention; there is no member of Black Hippie that can give street tales from such a distinct first person view like Rock can. Hopefully his profile gets a bit bigger with his new song "Money Trees Deuce". Built off a horn heavy sample produced by Flippa and J Proof its a somber street tale and continues the TDE streak of quality. Listen below.
