MUSIC: Cathedrals - Want My Love

Well, it looks like R&B is officially the 'it' genre as far as indie pop/rock is concerned. I can't be too mad considering without hip-hop holding up modern R&B we would be in a sea of boring VH1 Soul rejects. Ultimately it's a good thing; after marrying itself to rap music in the early '90's R&B has become pretty homogeneous. I mean Pharell's probably going to have R&B album of the year and he's not even trying. Anyway here is Cathedrals, a San Francisco band playing the smooth sort of pop R&B that's slowly taking over the underground music landscape.
