LIVE: GZA & Whitney at Goose Island's Analog Migration
Photos by Rosie Simmons
Fader and Goose Island Brewery brought two things that make people happy when it's given in spades; free beer and music. Their Analog Migration was a one two punch of fun thrown in Philly and in Portland. The Philly party took place at Union Transfer and featured the always great GZA along with opening support from the band Whitney. In between sets DJ Diamond Kuts kept the crowd moving and dancing, while Goose Island kept the crowd properly lubricated and in a socializing move. Whitney gave a solid performance but the standout was of course GZA. Over his career that now spans three (!!!) decades one thing he’s always done consistently well is his live show, and over an hour and a half set he did what he did best. Here’s to good beer and good MC’s.
