The Couch Sessions

Back in January I came across a collabo from a Norwegian disco producer/DJ named Hans-Peter Lindstrøm and a singer named Christabell Solale - together they go by the name Lindstrøm & Christabelle and their song "Lovesick" was a constant repeat in my headphones this winter. Now with it being hot as ish outside and summer flings are beginning to pop, I felt that it was a good time to (re)introduce this irresistible gem that somehow slipped through many of the blogosphereic cracks.

"Lovesick" is something like a sultry-psychedelic love song backed against a stomping electro beat. The track alongside Christabelle's voice (which is equally thick in both accent and mystique) make for an seductive tale of a desperate love affair that appears to be going nowhere. It is a certified banger that I don't think I can ever get tired of listening to. The song comes from the Oslo duos recent LP, Real Life is No Cool and can currently be heard playing in a Cadillac CTS-V commercial.
