The Couch Sessions

Of course it would take a remix for me to finally here a song that was already hot from the jump. But better late than never. The duo who is primarily responsible for the hotness you will here after the jump go by the name of Circle Research (aka Nik and Gil) and they've been reppin' Toronto with their electro-funk-hip hop style of production since 2008. A sound that is somewhat becoming a norm on the internet 'mainstream' but nevertheless they do a banging job at putting their own spin on it. They released an album this past April called Gardiner Express and they have a remix version coming out soon.

Circle Research brought in a singer/songwriter by the name of Jeremy Glenn for the remix to their song "Summer in the City"; he is also from Toronto and he is also very dope. Jeremy just released an EP called Mysterious Lover (listen below) and his alternative soulful/pop voice has lead him to share the stage with artist's like Dam Funk and Aeroplane.

Together they make for a great team because this remix is super tight and it is a song (obviously by its title)that is perfectly fit for summer. And it's FREE. So listen and download now.
