I've been sitting on these MP3s from The Stepkids for a hot minute now, and I'm mad that I never posted them on the site. Not that the LA colletive really needs my help. They got signed to Stone's Throw last year (with a debut album coming in September) and have amassed a very impressive touring schedule this spring. The track, Shadows On Behalf has been making the rounds for a while, with it's low-fi indie psychedelic vibe, but what really sets it apart is this beautiful rainbow vinyl. I know it's not tied to anything pertaining to Record Store Day tomorrow, but it's definitely a good colorful addition to your vinyl collection.

Speaking of Record Store day, the group is playing Fat Beats tomorrow with a slew of other guests.
