ALBUM STREAM: Lykke Li - Wounded Rhymes

Hands down one of the more highly anticipated albums in 2011 is Lykke Li's sophomore follow-up Wounded Rhymes. We already know that the album is going to be a lot darker and less pop-inspired than her previous effort and deals with her lonliness and despair after touring and a bad breakup. However will these themes resonate with fans who danced along to perky tracks like "Little Bit?" That remains to be seen.

On first listen, I'm kind of disappointed. I see where she is trying to go here, but I think she had an amazing sound on her first effort, and this subsequent album is a little bit too dark, brooding, and somewhat monotone for my tastes. What do y'all think?
