SIP OF THE MOMENT: Maison Premiere's Agua Benta Julep

Is it possible to fall in love with a bar? More importantly, is it possible to want to actually be a bar? I've got a giant crush on Maison Premiere, and I'm not afraid to hide it. Known for their oysters and specialty cocktails, Maison Premiere embodies everything about class and charm [minus the one bitchy hostess, but everyone's got a flaw].

Judging the book by its cover is totally fine here, but if you're not already smitten with the decor upon arrival, take one sip of their Agua Benta Julep, and you're already head over heels. I'm a sucker for anything in a metal glass, and this marriage of Avua Cachaça, Suze, Lime Cordial, Celery, and Spices makes a really classy version of an alcoholic lime-y sno-cone complete with fake bamboo straws.  This is exactly what I'm trying to drink all summer, and with the other julep offerings on the menu, plus that back garden I've yet to enjoy, I'd say my bar crush and I are getting pretty serious.
