FOOD: The Late Late [NYC]

The Late Late
Friday Happy Hours are one of my favorite things.  And when looking for a good Happy Hour, it's crucial that it goes past 7pm.  So this past Friday night I came across The Late Late and it had everything I was looking for.
All drafts were $5 and Happy Hour was from 4-8pm--off to a great start.  I wonder if people walk past this place on their way to bars that aren't right on Houston Street.  When we walked in I was pleasantly surprised--I think I was expecting it to be way more divey.  But it has a cool vibe that was very parlor-esque AND they had old school Nintendo at one end of the bar from 1985.
All I was really looking for was a good drink deal that went until 8 so when I ordered food I wasn't expecting that much.  I figured the burger was a safe bet.  The bartender/waitress was very knowledgable and helpful and said that it was an 11 oz burger and we should consider sharing it, which was very nice of her because she was so right.  This was a massive burger--and for $12, pretty inexpensive all things considered.  And on top of that, during Happy Hour if you spend $10 on food you get a free drink.  This place doesn't get much better in my opinion.
The burger was incredible.  It was so flavorful and came with the greatest sauce on the side.  I can't exactly pinpoint the flavor but it seemed to be mayonnaise based, which happens to be my favorite.  I think I've found my new Friday night spot...
