FOOD: Summer Bucket List [NYC]
Instead of letting you all know about the cool places I've been and recommend checking out, I am going to share the places that are on my Summer Bucket List. Because believe it or not, it is officially August and before we know it, we'll be talking about the places we're looking forward to checking out in the fall. But until then, soak up the sunshine and eat and drink as many summery things as we can while we are in what is basically the Sunday of summer.

First on my list is to go to Grand Banks (Pier 25). I'm hoping to go here on a summer Friday before the crowd rolls in. In case you don't know, Grand Banks is a boat/bar downtown in Tribeca off of the Franklin stop on the 1. Amazing cocktails (hopefully) on a boat? Just tell me where to sign up.

Along the same lines, I am dying to check out the North River Lobster Company (Pier 81). This is a boat cruise type deal where you can get lobster rolls and other seafood (as well as burgers) and every few hours the boat takes a 45 minute jaunt along the Hudson River. In an effort to try every lobster roll in the city, count me in.
Lastly, I am dying to see an outdoor movie. The ones at Bryant Park kind of turn me off immediately because of the number of people that come out for them, but there are more options than that! On August 22nd Rear Window is playing in Central Park (at 72nd Street) which is not only an awesome movie, but it's a Friday night which is perfect.
So tell me, what are you looking to do this summer?
