FOOD: Café Orlin [NYC]

I am admittedly not a huge salad person.  I rarely ever really feel like a salad but the other day while walking around in the 90 degree heat I really wanted something refreshing that wouldn't make matters any worse.
I stopped in at Café Orlin and found just what I was looking for straight away.  An ice cold beer and the beet and goat cheese salad.  I feel almost silly for writing about a salad but I can't tell you how good it was.  Here it is:
Goat Cheese & Baby Beet — 13
with baby red & golden beets, pears & pistachios, over mesclun greens with sesame dressing
I happen to love beets and goat cheese but what really stood out to me were the pistachios and the sesame dressing.  This was literally the perfect salad for the summer heat and I can't wait to come back and have it again.  Not to mention there's plenty of outdoor seating and the inside is super charming and adorable.  It will definitely make a great winter spot as well!
