EVENT PREVIEW: WGBH Craft Beer Festival [Boston]
Summertime is that special time when the sun sets later and daylight lasts longer-- so even when you're enjoying a couple brews after work, you're effectively day drinking. If you're thrilled at this prospect (I am!), then you should hurry up and get your ticket to the second annual WGBH Craft Beer Festival on July 12th. Even if you don't care what the sunlight situation is when you kick back with a beer, this event promises to be educational for both your palate and your brain. There will be opportunities to sample an array of local craft brews and learn about the brewing process itself.
WGBH is hosting this beautiful New England union of summer + beer at their Boston studios. So far the list of participating breweries includes, among others, my personal favorites Bantam Cider, Cambridge Brewing Company, and Slumbrew but the list continues to grow. In additional to all the beer, there will be local food trucks and live entertainment.
