DRINK RECIPE: Tiger Woods
Tiger played like his niece, Cheyenne, at the US Open this past weekend. Although she failed to qualify for the LPGA in 2013, she scored a gig as a reporter for the Back9Network. And the first question she asked her famous uncle was how he relaxes during the nerve-racking event. Instead of continuing on the path that led to that horrid triple bogey on Sunday, I suggest Tiger throw back a few of my “East meets West” version of an Arnold Palmer or John Daly between rounds.
The Input
1 1/2 ounces of Thai basil and ginger infused bourbon
1 1/2 ounces of green tea
1 1/2 ounces of coconut water
1 1/2 ounces of freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tablespoon of local honey
The Algorithm
Since coconut water is the rave right now, steal some from your girl. I promise she won’t notice. Next, add freshly brewed green tea, lemon juice, honey, and Thai basil & ginger infused bourbon. Stir until the honey dissolves and pour in a glass with chopped ice.
