FOOD: 5 Great Spots for Date Night this Fall [NYC]
Now that the weather has officially turned to Fall, it just makes me want to put on my favorite sweater and have a cozy dinner out. And while this post says "date night" in the title, boyfriend, girlfriend, or best friend, these are a few of my favorite places to share a bottle of wine and tremendous food.
Abbottega West Village--14 Bedford Street, Manhattan
Nothing says Fall like pasta and wine, right? Abbottega fits the bill with a cozy atmosphere and fresh pasta made to order in-house. Can't go wrong with that. Recommended: cacio e pepe

Freemans Lower East Side--end of Freeman Alley, off Rivington between Bowery and Chrystie, Manhattan
This place just has Fall and Winter written all over it. Twinkle lights, taxidermy, comfort food, and a killer wine list. Recommended: artichoke dip

Schiller's Lower East Side--131 Rivington Street, Manhattan
Who says date night has to be fancy? Put on some jeans and walk over to Schiller's for wine at every price point, comfort food, and a no frills atmosphere. Recommended: mac and cheese

Minetta Tavern West Village--113 MacDougal Street, Manhattan
Want to impress your date? Take him/her for potentially the most outrageous burger ever. $30 for said burger isn't a cheap date but if you're out celebrating it's totally worth it. It doesn't even need cheese...mind blown. Cozy and super romantic. Recommended: Black Label Burger

The Bourgeois Pig East Village--111 East 7th Street, Manhattan
If wine is leading the way and you want some fondue to nibble on, this is your place. Awesome fondue, great wine list, and perhaps the most cozy atmosphere around. Perfect for Fall.
