CMJ SPECIAL: Late Night Eats (and Drinks) Near Music Hall of Williamsburg and Brooklyn Bowl
On the heels of our last CMJ Food + Drink Special, we're also giving you some tips on where to eat and drink after taking part in CMJ's activities at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. All these great places are walking distance from Music Hall of Williamsburg and the Bedford Ave L train, so you won't have to travel far. d.b.a - If you're only looking to drink, head over here. We already raved about d.b.a's Tchoup Shop (only open on weekends until the food runs out) and it's time to focus on their drinks, which they have a lot of. d.b.a's extensive beer menu includes sixteen taps, a long list of spirits, and dozens and dozens of bottles of beer and even multiple kinds of cider. There's a patio, a long bar, and a lot of space, and the place is pretty relaxed at all hours so you can actually hear your conversations and not have to worry about someone knocking over your craft beer.
There's a Manhattan d.b.a. just blocks away from Drom that I personally frequent, so if you're doing some CMJ hopping, you can always hit up both.

The Levee - There is nothing like a great dive bar, and this is one of them. You can call it a hipster bar if you want, but you can't really argue with a place that has cheap beer, a pool table, and board games. Pitchers run anywhere between $10-18, and the food is just as fancy as the place, serving delicacies such as frito pie, hot dogs, and PB&J. Oh, and there are free cheese balls. Can't hurt!
The Levee is located at 212 Berry Street at N. 3rd Street, Brooklyn, NY. Open every day from 1 pm - 4 am.
Radegast Hall & Biergarten - If dive bars aren't your thing, just head across the street from The Levee over to Radegast for a completely different experience. The place is designed in true German beer hall fashion, with long communal tables and also a couple cozy little nooks. Definitely pricier than most bars, but you get much better (and a much, much wider selection of) beer. Food includes your typical German fare like kielbasa and pretzels. Yum!
