My dude Dorsh has been killing it on both sides of the production booth lately, but I was utterly blown away when I heard this Skyfall remix for the first time.

I first heard this out when Viceroy was playing the CMJ mixer in October and I damn near dropped my drink. I’ve always enjoyed how Europeans tend to flip these tracks and the Swedes add some laid back vibes to this already classic song.

Robin Thicke - Lost Without You (Dublin Aunts Daytime Sex Mix)

Robin Thicke’s “Lost Without You,” was already sexy, but somehow Australia’s Dublin Aunts made this track even sexier. Slowing it down to a nice 96 BPM, and adding some nice keys over the top. The result is subtle but oh so effective.

Fiona Apple - Every Single Night (MeLo-X APT Basement God Mix)

Fiona Apple may not be the first candidate for remix potential, but the dude Melo-X saw it as a challenge. He completely flipped Fiona's “Every Single Night” and turned into some tribal concoction that retains none of the roots of her previous effort. This track is destined to be a certified floor filler.

Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know (M-Phazes Remix)

Before there was Gangnam Style, there was another slightly annoying foreign track that dominated the airwaves. Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know,” pretty much permeated your brain during the early half of this year but this M-Phazes remix of the track completely flips it on it’s head and creates a laid back summer banger.

*This remix was dropped in late 2011, but kind of like the Grammys, I’m going to make an exception for this on and let it slide.
