40 years after his death the rock star is still on high demand and today marks then day when his fans get one of their biggest wishes.

Jimi Hendrix – Valley of Neptune is now officially available – an extraordinary collection of never-released music recorded during his final days with the Jimi Hendrix Experience. ‘Valleys’ will be released on CD and Vinyl through through his website alongside other remastered material from original Jimi Hendrix albums. The Hendrix estate is also reporting that a forthcoming anthology is also in the works and there are rumors of a pending Rock Band video game on its way out -set to cause the same mania the Beatles version caused some months back.

I’ve been sleeping on Shaun Boothe’s “Unauthorized Biography of..” series but I gotta say, this is some of the most creative hip-hop I’ve seen in a while, even if I’m not entirely sold on the MC. The Jimi Hendrix one above is the best one in the series so far.
