The Ann Loeb Bronfman Gallery at the Washington DCJCC presents:
OFF THE WALL: Mike Schreiber
Off The Wall is a series of artist talks presented by the Ann Loeb Bronfman Gallery at the Washington DC Jewish Community Center as a way of showcasing contemporary Jewish and/or local artists.
Please come out on Thursday, January 13, 2010 for an evening with New York-based photographer Mike Schreiber who will talk about and sign his book True Hip-Hop, a collection of his work over the past thirteen years.
Schreiber has worked with and photographed some of the music industry’s best known artists,
including Mos Def, Biz Markie, Beastie Boys and M.I.A. His photos capture the true essence of
cultural life and perspective, resulting in an unparalleled aesthetic viewpoint that is refined yet
undeniably honest in its raw and gritty tone.
