Seattle, Washington native Kimberly Nichole’s style, stage presence and captivating voice have been earning a lot of recent hype – Mtv, Vogue, etc all taking notes while she’s playing shows with Mayer Hawthorne and hanging backstage with Ashford & Simpson. You won’t want to miss this performance!
The eerie musical styling of Hussle Club’s dark punk and no wave songs are undefinable and fresh. They perfectly echo the streets and the trials and tribulations of the present generation. Born in the projects of Detroit, raised in Louisville, Kentucky where he worked for a punk label, Prince Terrence has made his way to the top in all aspects. The pinnacle being, surviving in New York City by simply doing what he does best, playing music. He has seen all aspects of music from the bottom to the top and has a story to tell. Playing every single instrument himself on Hussle Club recordings, he is creating a lifelong soundtrack.” -Culture Of Me
Mattie Safer. You know him as bassist, writer and vocalist for The Rapture (that band that revolutionized the post-punk movement in the aughts. See: Echoes, Pieces of the People We Love, etc). After 10 years with the outfit, Safer began to explore a new and diverse musical world. On his first solo single released February 2011 on Ed Banger Records, “Is That Your Girl?,” Safer remains loyal to his dance roots, infusing hip-hop lyrics over electro beats.
