Happy (almost) Verdejo Day! Take advantage of the first annual Verdejo Day in the United States by sampling this delicious Spanish wine on June 12th at Tavern 29 in Manhattan. From 6:30-9pm, guests will be able to celebrate with an assortment of Verdejo, a varietal of wine that is indigenous to Spain’s Rueda.
Verdejo has been penned as wine’s next rising star, and is said to be perfect for sipping on in the spring and summer seasons – it is described as carrying hints of herbs as well as notes of tropical and stone fruits.
Verdejo Day will be celebrated all over the country with parties open to the public in New York, L.A., Chicago, and Miami – to join us at the New York party, get your own tickets here! To learn more about Verdejo Day, visit the official website.
