Considering the cult cartoon has been off the air for a few years and is returning without its mastermind Aaron McGruder at the help I guess Adult Swim felt they needed new ways to remind people the show is back. We win in this case because “The Boonies” doesn’t feel like a cheap cash in; Alchemist does what he does best by keeping everything murky and sinister and Killer Mike slows down his attack to fit the dark mood.
