EVENT PREVIEW: Brooklyn Uncorked [May 29, 2014]

What better way to kick off the unofficial beginning of summer than by indulging in New York state wines and the best fare that the city has to offer? Set in the always gorgeous Skylight One Hanson on the evening of May 29, Edible Brooklyn's Brooklyn Uncorked will celebrate a night of wine, focusing on the Long Island and Finger Lakes regions, paired with delicious small plates from local vendors.
Hope you're ready to drink, because here's the lineup: Baiting Hollow Farm and Vineyard, Bedell Cellars, Bouquet, Brooklyn Winery, Brooklyn Oenology Winery, Channing Daughters, Croteaux Vineyards, Finger Lakes Wine Alliance, Lieb Cellars, Macari Vineyards, Martha Clara Vineyards, One Woman Wines and Vineyards, Palmer Vineyards, Paumanok Vineyards, Pindar Vineyards, Raphael, Ravines Wine Cellars, Red Tail Ridge Winery, Roanoke Vineyards, Sherwood House, Shinn Estate Vineyards and Farmhouse,Southold Farm + Cellar, Sparkling Pointe, SUHRU Wines, The Lenz Winery, The Standard Cider Co. and Brotherhood Winery, Whitecliff Vineyard & Winery and Wölffer Estate Vineyard.
Since no one should drink on an empty stomach, a hefty list of Brooklyn and Manhattan's best restaurants will be on deck to sustain you, including Nightingale 9, Murray's Cheese Bar, The Good Fork, home/made bklyn, Gramercy Tavern, Allswell, and many, many more. Food artisans such as Whole Food Market, Grillo's Pickles, The Chocolate Room, Bruce Cost Ginger Ale, and more will also be in attendance. As an extra perk, Bormioli Rocco will be providing the glassware for the event - and you'll be able to bring home your glass as a souvenir.
Tickets are $65 for general admission and $75 for a general admission and magazine subscription. Space is limited - so pick up your ticket as soon as you can!
