Besides playing the role of fashion killa in Paris for runway shows, A$AP Rocky has been relatively quiet. This ends this month with the release of the tween action/adventure romp Divergence soundtrack where he’s got a track with Yeezus collaborator Gesaffelstein.
Gesaffelstein is signed to Paris based Bromance Records which has had a pretty cool movement going on for the past couple of years. While the name lends to images of bro-hams throwing up their hands in tight Armani Exchange shirts, they deal in extreme hard hitting techno that reminds you of vintage to 80’s/90’s Industrial music. Gesaffelstein may be a little fussy in interviews, but he’s all business and in a couple of years has accumulated solid discography of remixes and singles, along with one of the better full lengths of last year, Aleph. Listen to their track below, and also check out one of his older songs featuring killer fixie bike riders, “Viol” above.
