Brooklyn is known for pumping out tons of delicious eateries, but for some crazy reason, South Brooklyn doesn’t get as much love as its northern counterpart. Travel down south on Thursday, January 23 and head to Coney Island Hospital’s A Taste of Sheepshead Bay, presented by Sheepshead Bites – a special tasting event that will highlight Sheepshead Bay’s culinary gems.
Set at the Baron Dekalb Knights of Columbus, right on the waterfront, guests will be able to sample many cuisines ranging from Italian to Uzbeki, and participants will include: Il Fornetto / Nargis Cafe/ Wheeler’s / Anatolian Gyro / Arbuz / Chayhana Salom / Tete a Tete / Jimmy’s Famous Heros / T&D Bakery / and many more! Additionally, the event will host a fully stocked cash bar as well as live music. This is an amazing opportunity to sample the local eats, especially if you aren’t familiar with Sheepshead Bay – come with your appetite ready and your stomach empty, because this event will make sure you’re well acquainted with the area’s food by the time the night is over.
Tickets are only $30 in advance, and $35 at the door (cash only!) – you can get your ticket here.
