A SEASON OF ENTERTAINING WITH CUPCAKE VINEYARDS: Cabernet Sauvignon & Chardonnay
by Lea Faminiano
Party season is fast approaching, and you’re probably gearing up to attend a couple festivities… but what if you’re the one throwing them? Don’t pull the standard Pandora and beer from the corner bodega deal – this season, class it up! Luckily for you, we’ve crafted an arsenal of music playlists that we’ve paired up with Cupcake Vineyards wines to ensure that you’ve got the best mix at any type of event you’ll be throwing this season.
First up: you’re going to need your strength for all the parties, so ease into it all by inviting everyone over for a laid-back get-together. Don’t let this season pass by without at least one session with the crew around a fire, keeping warm and throwing down a couple drinks.
We’ve got two Cupcake Vineyards wines perfect for sipping on while you’re making s’mores, bundling up, and of course, listening to music perfect for relaxing. You can’t go wrong with a glass of crisp and vibrant Cupcake Vineyards Chardonnay, which tastes like a mixture of butter, cream, and bright citrus-y flavors.
On the other hand, give your guests options and throw in a delicious red wine. One of our favorite choices would be a bottle of Cupcake Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, a wine that’s got some hints of blackberry and cherry, and a little cocoa and toasty oak, too – it’s super smooth, and pairs perfectly with the list of music we’ve curated.
While you’re entertaining, throw on our playlist packed with tunes perfect for your chill sessions. Start things off right with a couple upbeat songs, like Toro Y Moi’s “Still Sound” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Rigamortus,” and mix it up with a couple slower songs we’ve included so you’ve got the best of everything, like Passion Pit’s “Constant Conversations.” Also on the list is music by Martina Topley Bird, Mayer Hawthorne, Purity Ring, Haim, and much more. Enjoy!
