As a lifestyle website, we absolutely love when music, art & design, and fashion are beautifully melded together to produce a cohesive cultural campaign. The good people at Footlocker Europe successfully merged all of these aspects that are dearly important to The Couch Sessions.
From b-boys laced in their pumas head-spinnnig on cardboard mats, rappers making songs dedicated to their vans and adidas, to graffiti legends crafting limited edition Nikes with their own Hip Hop touch, there is no doubt that music and fashion are intrinsically connected. In line with these cultural collaboration, Foot Locker Europe has cleverly created a one-of-a-kind installation – the world’s first sneaker mixing deck.
The result is a unique film where we see Foot Locker’s “Stripers” – a group of gifted producers creating individual tracks on the sneaker decks; all coming together as a team to create an original piece of branded content we know you folks will enjoy watching. We’ll see Stripers mixing a Converse Peelback, a Nike Free Run +2 and an Adidas Honey Hi in the film and we’ll see the unique sounds and visuals that these different sneakers create when interacting with the deck.
